Hi friends, Cosette here! It is now December 2025!! Can you believe the year is coming to a close and the holiday season is in full swing? I am beyond excited to be island hoping and exploring Northern Greece for a few more weeks before we head back to Michigan for a much needed reboot! This year has been as challenging as it has been beautiful. Let me catch you up real quick:
We have been digital nomad-ing for over 3 years now! Partially in the U.S. and the other part abroad! This past March, we left Texas and moved our home base back to Michigan! After a sweet spring in the mitten, we took off for Southern Europe! To make digital nomad-ing possible and in budget for this season of life, we have been staying in Northern Greece and the Balkan region of Europe (we backpack on a Balkan budget). Our approach is to be like house plants: stay rooted, cultivate good soil, yet be moveable. We are trying to soak up, meet as many people as possible, join church communities, serve, learn the local languages, all the while staying rooted in our walk with Christ, our marriage, and stewarding our remote jobs! To some it may be chaotic, but to us, the balance of slow-nomad-ing while traveling is the only to go! It makes it feel like we aren’t even traveling at all, but truly living (even if its for a few weeks or months, in these new cultures!)
2026 is looking to be a similar rhythm for us, half the year abroad and half the year back in the states! So stay tuned as we continue to release a fresh wave of all things discipleship, coffee, travel, & every day living following Jesus. <3
